Job Description:

The Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming, greeting and directing visitors, in person or on the telephone; for answering or referring inquiries; for maintaining employee and department directories; for maintaining security, monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges. S/he will also maintain tracking records of all documents and reports, support in monitoring the school’s day to day affairs, and schedule meetings etc.

The ideal candidate may have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience at a reputable institution. The individual should have effective and strong communications and interpersonal skills, and strong command over MS Office.

Reaching out to the remotest areas of the country, AKES,P has been providing quality education in the region for the past 110 years. It is a direct provider of education for nearly 36,000 students from pre-primary to higher secondary levels and facilitates access to higher education through the provision of scholarships, hostels and other educational support services.With more than 2,000 employees, of whom over 1,500 areteachers, AKES,P is also supported by over 2,000 volunteers.

In Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, the first AKES,P schools were setup in the 1940s; since then they have contributed significantly toincreasing the literacy rates and social development in theremote, mountainous, harsh and ecologically fragile regions ofNorthern Pakistan. AKES,P currently operates 151 schools inGilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, providing education to over 27,000students, of which 54% are girls.
