IRC has been working in Pakistan for over 30 years, and leads and delivers large, and results-oriented programs to meet the needs in health, education, protection, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor and disaster affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Baluchistan and Sindh provinces.

Recently, IRC has launched a 5 years’ USAID’s WEE Project primarily in five selected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the objective to promote women’s social and economic empowerment through safe and dignified access to livelihoods opportunities, information, resources and services. The project will also facilitate NIC (National Identity Card) registration of 1.2 million women across 49 districts of Punjab, KP and Sindh in two years starting July 2020 by linking /bringing unregistered women at NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs) and facilitating Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs). Acquiring NIC will facilitate women in opening bank accounts, registering as voters, accessing credit, inheriting and owning property and accessing social protection benefits.

Job Overview/Summary: The IRC is seeking a multidimensional and self-motivated individual for the position of CSO for implementation of its NIC registration component under WEE Project. The CSO will be based at Country Office, Islamabad and will report to Senior Project Managers in coordination with Project and Finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Zonal Managers and support in data verification/management.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings and ensure effective documentation
  • Verify means of verification collected from the field, list of identified and facilitated women, identify discrepancies and course correction.
  • Assist SPM in data and financial management, generating periodic reports and maintain records.
  • Coordinate periodic review meetings of field teams and provide vital logistic support
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor.

Key Working Relationships:

Position Reports to: Senior Project Manager

Position directly supervises: Nil

Position coordinates with: Zonal Managers

Requirements:

a) Education Requirements: Masters in Social Sciences, Project Management or Business Administration

b) Work Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in data management, handling programme finance, partners’ engagement and reporting

c) Preferred Substantial work experience:

Prior experience of working in women CNIC registration projects 

d) Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Urdu and English language
  • Validated experience and track record of timely and high-quality completion of assignments.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible demeanor towards receiving feedback.
