About the Role:

TCP Software (formerly Humanity) is looking for a Web Designer to join our growing marketing team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for websites, digital static and rich banner ads, email templates, and additional graphics (print and digital) required for marketing materials.

Key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

• Design web pages including the production of photos and graphics, keeping UX and responsiveness in mind, and following brand guidelines and the established look and feel; optimize website pages on a consistent basis
• Design and produce static and rich banner ads, including sizing and versioning
• Format email templates including image selection, retouching, and sizing
• Craft mini-videos used for brand awareness and training (Crello)
• Work with the creative team to ensure consistency and integrity of the brand and creative vision and with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web environment
• Translate and create marketing requests into compelling campaigns and designs
• Provide design support to create marketing materials, templates, product graphics, other similar print-related graphics
• Ensure consistency of brand and creativity across digital customer touchpoints
• Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirement

• Portfolio showing wireframing for website design, design of websites, and final products (URLs)
• Ability to work in a CMS system (understanding of Craft is a plus but not required)
• Understanding of UX and UI
• Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design
• Working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign (After Effects, a plus); also, Sketch or similar web design programs; understanding HTML/CSS preferred
• Proven ability to design digital display and banner ads
• Ability to design print materials such as fact sheets and case studies

• Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
• Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
• Awareness of UI/UX principles
• Familiarity with digital photo editing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in digital design, graphic design, or related field
• Minimum 2 years successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house Web/Design team
• Strong portfolio of design work, showing an understanding of UX and best practices in design as well as wireframes and completed websites
• Ability to present concepts and advise on best practices while consistently iterating the site
• Experience in digital marketing including banner ad design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, understanding HTML, CSS, knowledge of web design programs such as Sketch and web design processes
• Strong work ethic, ability to take direction, keen eye for detail, understanding of brand cohesion, passion for remaining up-to-date with online best practices (UX, UI, WCAG, etc.)
• Strong time management skills and good interpersonal skills
