Minhasoft seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from scratch and plugins.

We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems.

Job Description:

• Execute coding of web-related projects.


• PSD to Wordpress – Custom Theme Development


• Develop new sites and maintain existing sites with enhancements.


• Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the WordPress platform strategy for the business.


• Create bespoke plugins and developing modules for WordPress.


• Document technical and functional specifications.


• Communicate with different departments to resolve any vulnerabilities in the project.


• Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live' deadlines.


• Mentor to junior developers when required.


• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Required SKILLS:

• Must have professional experience of at least 3 – 4 years or above in Wordpress Theme Creation from Scratch.


• Good knowledge of programming in Core PHP is required.


• Good knowledge of Database design and writing SQL queries


• Good knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery and PHP Frameworks


• Excellent understanding of web frontend and WordPress themes


• Proficient in creating responsive themes from SCRATCH, HTML to WordPress and PSD to WordPress


• Must have ability to create custom post types and custom fields.


• Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code


• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to be a team player and grow as the needs of the business grows.
